The growth of Indonesia's natural rubber exports

Indonesia's natural rubber exports growth over the last six years (2000-2005) is about 7.96%. The growth of Indonesia's natural rubber exports tend to be stable, while the value of exports fluctuated as they relate to the export price of rubber. Indonesia rubber export price is highly dependent on international natural rubber prices, supply and demand. and competitiveness of Indonesia's natural rubber exports in comparison with exports from other exporting countries, like Thailand and Malaysia.



Indonesia rubber export products, in 1969 was dominated by a sit-smoke (Smoke Ribed Sheet - RSS), but ten years later is dominated by the type of rubber technical specifications (Standard Indonesian Rubber-SIR). In 2004 the types of SIR dominate Indonesia's natural rubber exports with a share of about 91% of total exports.
